TC Group merges with accountancy practice in London

Feb 19, 2021

TC continues its rapid growth of the last three years into 2021 through a merger with London-based accountancy practice, The Company Books, whose clients will be managed from TC’s offices in Farnham and Croydon.

This latest merger again consolidates TC’s official position as the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy practice, as they further expand their presence in the South of England.

Last year, TC entered the accountancy Top 40 in the UK, having jumped 14 places to 34. TC also recently became the first UK accountancy firm in the country to offer a full range of investment, mortgage, legal and HR advice.

Founded in 1992, The Company Books is a management accountancy practice, providing quality bookkeeping and business accounting services to companies of all sizes. Business owners, Joy Cantlon and Paul de Vryer, are excited by this merger with TC, knowing that this change of direction ensures they are best-placed to service their clients’ needs moving forward.

Joy and Paul both commented that they believe their clients will benefit hugely from the TC Group’s comprehensive service offering and continue to be well serviced by their dedicated team.

Jim Norrington and Miles Auckland, Partners at TC Group, commented: “The Company Books is a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in London known for their commitment to building strong working relationships and providing a first-class service to their clients. Having joined TC, The Company Books have provided us with another major boost to our representation across the country and enhanced our ability to service clients across the South of England.

This merger represents, once again, TC’s strategy of joining forces with progressive firms who wish to merge and provide a comprehensive range of professional services to their clients.

We are also very grateful to WJP Brokerage Limited who recognised the potential synergy between us and made the initial introduction.”
